One of the best shopping sites I've seen come along in a long time, Personal Shopper dynamically updates based on your product preferences. You can open the Personal Boutique page and it will simply refresh with new product recommendations every few minutes. Add friends and family with their respective interests and preferences to receive gift reminders and recommendations in time for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.
This is one of the few times I'll recommend a shopping site without my being an affiliate ;)

Converting Video for iPod or Tivo

Have a Tivo or video iPod (if you don't have a Tivo this is me slapping you silly - go buy one! Trust me, recorders the cable companies are giving away are not the same) and wish you could play more than just the video, shows, and movies available to it? Having spent some time over the holiday on the internet, I found a few new sites to keep you entertained. retrievr leverages the highly recommended photo site flickr to show you photos based on a drawing. You'll spend hours drawing little pictures to see what photos flickr comes up with. Everything happens on retrievr, you draw a picture and images are automatically pulled to the same page. Enjoy!
